Is this a duty for muslim women?

yep. its a big misunderstood, even by modern muslim women. muslim men are supposed to provide everything : money, necessities, luxury...even chores. cooking and cleaning. a woman's duties are only to treat him as husband and take good care of the households (husband and children's needs)
