What would the Founding Fathers think of us today?

George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin etc: They brought forth a nation based on the principles of freedom, justice and limited government. What would they think of our government today? It intrudes upon almost every aspect of our lives from birth to death, and it taxes us in almost every way imaginable. I doubt they would recognize the country and government they created.
