I'm not used to studying roman history, let alone any history, let alone at undergrad level! please advise?

Ancient Rome and its transition from Republic to Empire is my favorite area of history. I've attached a few good web sites...that would be a good way to start familiarizing yourself with Rome and its inner workings. emblies, Centuries, Commitia, Senate, Knights, Senators, Plebs, Patricians, Aediles, Tribunes, Praetors, Consuls, Censors...it can all seem a bit daunting...but its fun stuff.
