I know how you feel. Sometimes that background noise makes it that much harder to hear the dialog. I fiddle with the control on the subwoofer. That helps a little sometimes. You might also want to pick different Environmental and Equalizer Settings in Sound Manager or VLC itself. Frankly it only helps a little at best for me. Maybe that will work better for you. I was standing out in a muddy field (possibly under construction?) and I was in line for something. The guy in charge was directing people to one of two huge (like mountain huge) dirt mounds in the distance. I remember seeing his face, which weird because I don't usually see faces in my dream, I just get general figures and then it is attributed to someone. firstly well done on getting into aerospace engineering. it is really hard to get into where I live in Australia. I don't know much about American Uni's but I think you should go for Michigan if you think you are going to love it so much. Illinois may have a better reputation in this field but it is still the same sort of thing and Michigan can't be that bad in comparison and you will have a blast there. But I think either way it shouldn't matter. you will do the course and have fun either way so don't worry too much.

Science has pretty much explained how evolution occurred. This is where faith comes in. It's a leap of faith to say it was created by God. Now he has Lame Legs where you push on a part of his spine his back legs'll drop. He was doing fine on rimadyl &I went away for Lake George on my birthday. I got back & he seemed depressed (yet usually when I get back from trips hes so excited and jumpin all over me). Hes recently havin breathin problems - pantin in a way (which might be showin pain which Ive heard pantin is sometimes a sign of it Its not a "I'm-hot-let-me-cool-off" type of pant. Its when he even sleeps now which I think the heart murmurs kickin in (since hes never had meds for his heart murmur). His back legs are problematic He doesnt sit normally most of the time now. 1 leg sometimes is straight out & the other sittin normal (for ex:). I think it might b time to put him down, but its hard hes been in my life, my shadow & my love- a son. I kno its better to take him out of pain

I have had my cat for a long time now , and when most people tell me he is just getting old thats not good enough for me. This cat is my buddy and he doesnt seem to be miserable or in pain cause he still purrs and looks at people with big open eyes. But I did take him to the vet yesterday and let them do blood work and xrays. So the bloodwork says that everything is normal , blood , oxygen , electrolytes , kidney.. all that is fine but the liver isnt.and there is a m, most likely a tumor in his abdomen and they said that unfortunately there is nothing they can do because they cant tell what exactly is wrong with the liver until they do an ultrasound. problem is i got laid off my job a few months ago , and just paid $300 for the visit yesterday. an ultrasound is big bucks!! but i want my cat to be healthy again. what do i do??

My wife refuses to find new homes for her 20+ cats. What should I do?

I am not totally blameless in this. About ten years ago I bought her a kitty. Who could see this coming. The house seems to be a magnet for strays, which my big-hearted wife always seems to take in. Due to the high volume of treating feline afflictions, fixing cat injuries & of course sterilizing the little buggers that the local vet does for my wife, she has actually has a veterinary credit card. Despite this access to medical procedures, it is not unusual for a new litter of kitties to be on the way. The grand total was around 30, but a few months ago several were lost to the busy road in front of our home. My wife gets upset when i try to discuss this problem with her. She always says,"I'm taking care of it". She has been saying tis clear back when there was only 4 cats. If she would keep them out of the house it would be an improvement. I don't want to go into the gruesome details. It seems that she is steadfast in her position. I feel that she puts the cats ahead of her family.

Ipod skips at high treble?

I have a new ipod 120gb clic that's hooked up with a usa spec interface for my car which is a 2001 grandprix, and I wanted to replace the factory radio with the same radio out of a 2001 firebird. (simple plug and play) The radios are the same but the radio out of the firebird has the aux on needed to control the ipod. It's the Delco Monsoon with the 7 band equalizer. When I play my ipod (ipod equalizer setting and volume adjustment is off) it starts cutting out if the treble is too high. I have to lower the treble which then causes the music to sound like it's coming out of a tin can. The treble equalizer on the radio itself is turned down to almost nothing. I searched and couldn't find anything on the web with my problem so hopefully someone can help. Does the radio not have the power to output? It should. Everything was installed correctly and I play my music just loud enough to hear while driving on the expressway so I'm no means blasting my music. Anything is appreciated. Nutro hairball remedy catfood for my cat?

I have a maine coon that I currently feed Science Diet hairball formula. He has the worst hair. The food helped at first but after about 6 months it stopped working as well. I have tried to incorporate some wet food into his diet to help him p the hair but after trying almost every brand he will not eat wet food. (however he will lick all the juices from it). He loves tuna juice (as a rare special treat) so I tried to even disguise a little fish oil in it to help. He of course smelled it and looked at me like I was crazy. He can pretty much detect any oils or treatmenet disguised in his food. I have tried the hairball remedy at petsmart and it didn't seem to help much and he fights me so much i usually end up wearing most of it. He also turns his nose up to hairball treats. I brush him everyday but he is an obsessive groomer. So my last resort is to try a different food. Has anyone had luck with Nutro? Plus, I keep hearing bad reviews on science diet.

I live in georgia and I recently bought a vacation home in florida and plan on residing there for 3 or 4 months out of the year. I require many pharmaceuticals daily. Someone told me that it is illegal to have your medication mailed out of state, either by the doctor's office (kaiser) or by a person. Is this true?

Out of this list which is the best dog for a pet?

Bulldog hands down. They are the ultimate couch potato and considered the ultimate lazy man's dog. Then in spite of what someone just said the do require lots of grooming; face washing, cleaning and this is daily. They are the ultimate clowns though and love to have fun on their terms. Mine, I have 3, walk about 3 miles a day but not all at once. They are mellow from beginning to end. Boxers would be my second choice I was raised with them and they don't need that much exercise either as they get out of puppy stage. They can walk longer than the bulldogs but are just as fun with less health problems. Good luck

How can i get my child to drink?

My 3 year old was in hospital with swelling in the brain during this time he stopped walking talking and eating and drinking..He has since recovered and is back on his feet..But the only problem is he won't drink he is receiving fluids through a ng tube but we have been told to encourage him to drink I have done everything to coax him to drink but he still refuses when I ask him to drink he points to the tube I think he knows he is getting his intake from there .I can't get the tube removed as he is on loads on meds which go down his tube Im worried he will never drink again..Ive bought every cup bottle etc he is also on the autism spectrum so we have been told this is behaviour issue..Anyone any ideas on how I can get him to drink I'm all out of ideas

Wow.... what a tough question to answer. First of all I ume there are no check engine lights on?.. If so I'd probably start with checking the fuel pump output for pressure and volume.. (try banging on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet next time car messes up) White smoke or steam usually indicates water or coolant in the combustion chamber. Has the coolant level dropped? Does the oil look like chocolate milk? These kinds of problems are really a nightmare for mechanics, do what you can on your own, but try to doent as much as you can all of the conditions and symptoms surrounding this problem and hopefully someone will be able to pinpoint your problem. good luck!!!!

Surfing advice for amateurs. Please read!?

Well i live on the east coast of the USA, so there's not that great of surf out there. I do travel to several beach's cross the east coast. Well I haven't every surfed before. I have got on a long board a few times, and stood up a couple times. I got the hang of it(well a little bit). I have been around beaches and oceans almost all my life, but never really had the ball's to try surfing. I always would boogie board, or skim boarded. I know how the waves work, with the tide, and when swells are coming in. I know how to catch/grip a wave. I want to ride a short board i know that for sure, but I'm 6"3 and about 175lbs. I would just like a couple brand names, websites, places or other things that i could get a real good board for me. Is wisdom teeth extraction normally painful?

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted at once on monday. My god I'm in pain. The left side of jaw is swollen. I can barely open my mouth. I gargle with salt water 3 times a day. I have a 1986 Yahmaha Fj1200. Its nothing sepcial to me i plan on buying a harley next year but i figured i would buy this bike first since i'm a new rider. Uhmm i just had the carbs cleaned and had the jets and floats replaced in the carbs. The bike starts and sounds good but the throttle does not pop back it sticks and it almost like cruise control. i have to pull the throttle forward in order for the bike to decelerate. whats wrong. Starting on 3/1, went for a jog, but had my period. Took a shower, laid down, ever since then been in severe pain. I've had a abdominal CT scan (negative), pelvic ultrasound (negative), seen my primary doc numerous times, gyno twice, even GI doc. Bloodwork is negative, urine negative. Recently saw a chiropractor who told me my 3rd lumbar was unaligned, so he re-adjusted me, felt some lessoning of symptoms in all regions for 2 days, but now back in pain. Gyno has put me on birth control, because they think it may be endometriosis. They want to see if after 2 cycles the birth control takes care of it, but if not, they are recommended laprospcopy. My concern now, since I saw chiropractor, is that it's more of a spine/back problem that is leading to these symptoms, but all my doctors seem pretty sure of the endometriosis - stating "25 yr old, healthy female, it has to be the case" -- any recommendations as to what to do?

People need to run away from trying to put a face and a label on God and build a relationship with him based on trust and devotion. God does not care about what religious group you chose, your ethnic group, your financial status, or your definition of who he is. God is bigger than your simple ideologies and biases. All these things are simply hindering you from seeking God's purpose for your life. Your group and ideas will change but God will remain the same rather you chose to follow him or not, rather you chose to serve him or not, rather you chose to worship him or not. These people act like they are doing God some big favor by believing in him. If you are so shallow as to think that you are here by accident and there is no greater purpose for your life than what kind of job you have and what kind of car you drive, then may God have mercy on your soul. I had my monthly really badly and had to use my jobs washing machine (it's in the basement) to wash my pants...they ended up firing me, stating it was misconduct. Was it? Yes, my son is a literal miracle from God. I was supossed to be unable to conceive and even though I did, I lost both pregnancies to miscarriage and was told I would never carry to term. My husband and I prayed a lot about it to God and ask him to bless us with a child. We started believing He would bless us. I ended up pregnant shortly after that and just knew from the beginning that everything would be okay. I was a diabetic and on mive amounts of insulin and my child could have been born deformed, but thanks to God he was born with no problems. I have been unable to conceive since that time and am truly thankful to God that He answered my prayers and blessed me with a child.
